Proper care keeps your extensions looking beautiful for longer. Here's everything you need to know.
Washing
- • Wash 2-3 times per week maximum
- • Use lukewarm water, never hot
- • Apply sulphate-free shampoo from mid-lengths first
- • Gently massage scalp — don't scrub
- • Rinse thoroughly with cool water
Conditioning
- • Apply conditioner mid-length to ends only
- • Avoid roots and bonds to prevent slippage
- • Leave for 5-10 minutes
- • Deep condition once every 1-2 weeks
- • Use lightweight, hydrating formulas
Brushing
- • Brush twice daily with extension brush
- • Always start from ends, work upward
- • Detangle gently before washing
- • Separate bonds daily with fingers
- • Never brush wet extensions
Sleeping
- • Never sleep with wet or damp hair
- • Tie in a loose braid or low ponytail
- • Use a silk or satin pillowcase
- • Ensure bonds are fully dry
